Liv is currently a level 6 student at Leeds Beckett University studying Sports Coaching. As part of Liv’s third year placement, she is currently working and gaining experience of all areas of our football centre in Leeds and is in charge of the 5 to 7 year age group.
By taking care of our children we first have to take care of our staff. Health and safety plays an important role in our induction process. Liv has been trained in our risk assessment process, pitch inspection, safety of children on site, fire evacuation, COVID 19 protocols and has completed our CPD training workshop in Safeguarding Children.

Meet Joe, a sixth form student, who is studying History, Economics and Sociology. While these are not sporting subjects, Joe loves football and has seized the opportunity to be part of the sport he loves, while enhancing his CV for future employment opportunities.
What are we looking for: Energetic and outgoing, you will be aged between 16 and 25 and be currently studying a sports qualification at a sixth form School or College of Further Education or be enrolled on a degree course at Leeds Beckett or Leeds Trinity Universities.
You also may be currently working in employment and in your spare time be involved in a coaching environment that may be grass roots football.
What you will gain: An induction in to how our football centres are operated administratively along with protocols for health and safety and safeguarding policies. Invauable experience of working with a wide age range of children and be involved with assisting with one to one coaching sessions.
You will be working with our experienced football coaches who have worked with grassroots football, women’s senior football, coaching overseas, professional football academies, football academies and have links with university coach education,
Following a successful trial period, you may be invited to join our football coach education course with the possibility of paid employment at our centre.
